Coal Action Network Aotearoa website

is a website for a group of climate justice campaigners committed to fighting the continuation of coal mining in Aotearoa New Zealand.

The main requirement, was to update the design to a more modern look and feel. For that the website needed to be ported from WordPress.com with all its contents to my hosting service provider Panthur and implement a new design framework. The Blog is based on WordPress CMS requires LAMP know how but also modern Front-end Design skills using HTML5 and CSS3. I used an Elegant themes template called Extra as a basis and customised it to suit the actual design requirements. The website is mobile responsive and to round things up I optimised Accessibility and SEO for all pages.

So far 323 pictures and graphical elements, the graphics were provided by the websites owner and customized with Adobe Photoshop and Fireworks, most of the pictures were provided by the website owner;
